Jackie Jayne

Jackie Jayne started working at Usk Veterinary Centre in 1988 having decided at the age of 13 that she wanted to be a veterinary nurse. She qualified from Berkshire college of Agriculture in 1991 and became Head Nurse here in 1992/3. Since having her son in 2010 she splits time between family and work.

She still enjoys all aspects of the role, including theatre nursing, radiography, weight management (her own lazy cat helps her understand your frustrations), medical nursing especially diabetic cases where she gets to know the owners as well as their pets.

She loves the area she lives in and spending times outdoors with the family.
