Farm Care

HEALTH SCHEMES

We offer testing to provide a certificate for several health schemes:

Sheep – Maedi Visna, Enzootic abortion, Scrapie

Bovine – Johnes disease, IBR, Leptospirosis and BVD

As Leptospirosis is a zoonosis (an animal disease that can be transmitted to humans), there is a legal duty of stock owners to be aware of the herd status and to undertake measures to minimise the risk to farm staff.
